Wedding Wednesday {Sweatin' For The Wedding}

Happy hump day lovies! Today is my Friday since I fly out tomorrow to spend an extended weekend with my fiance taking our engagement photos, please pray for nice weather and no blistering heat.

So ever since getting engaged, I've been a little more conscious of my exercise and eating habits. My eating habits may not change because I just love anything sweet and fried, but I know I need to do better at exercising some more.

I've never been a 3 hour at the gym type of person, I'm lucky if I'm there for an hour honestly, but I don't always like to head to the gym either especially during the summer. My absolute favorite exercise is walking, now it may not seem like much, but I do about a 4-5 mile walk and it's at a pretty fast rate. I throw some jogging in there depending on the tread, but mostly in bursts to get my heart rate up and maintain it for a bit.

I love finding different workout routines from one of my absolute favorite bloggers Amanda. I love getting inspiration and great workout ideas from her during her Friday Faves. Here are some of my favorites that I'll be adding to my workout routine!

Plank Series

The perfect travel workout you could do in the privacy of your own hotel room!

I love the varying workouts and they seem easy enough to do on a day that you can't get to a gym or go for a walk (or for days I'm too lazy to go out anywhere).

What are some of the workouts you guys are doing or have done? Any tips for brides sweating for the wedding?

  1. Sending so many good vibes your way for your engagement pictures! We're having another engagement shoot over Labor Day weekend with our wedding photographer. The ones we had done last fall were by my cousin and I want the us to work with our wedding photographer so we know each other's "style" before the day of the wedding. Good luck with your wedding workouts :)

  3. Yay for engagement pictures! Can't wait for a sneak peek of them :) Those are some great, do it it anywhere, no excuses workouts! I'll have to check out her blog for sure. Walking is great, too! I used to have a friend who I'd walk 6-8miles with when we had afternoons off. It was SO fun and kept me in great shape! If I could only find the time for those long walks again!

  11. I love going to the gym but my max is like 45 mins to an hour. Those people that spend hours in the gym are WAY more dedicated than I am. The Tone It Up girls have the best workouts!
