This past week I went to my happy place, Sephora! I have been breaking out with hormonal/cystic acne along my jawline and cheeks lately and wanted something to help with that. I have mostly been sticking with the same skincare routine with the exception of the eye cream. I've started using Kiehl's creamy eye treatment with avocado instead of the Dermalogica one.
I never really had any issues with acne, so never had any sort of spot treatment to help with it. I had been trying to put a mud mask on it overnight, but that wasn't doing the trick either. I finally got frustrated and went into Sephora to finally battle the acne.
I knew I didn't want an entire acne system or treatment, just more of a spot treatment and that's exactly what I was given.
This was such an interesting product and I'm glad that I found something like it. It has sulfur in it, so it smells...be warned, but that's what you need to really get rid of pesky acne. I put this on at night and you're supposed to use a q-tip to dip into the bottle, it looks like calamine lotion, but dries quickly. The great thing is that it's good for all skin types!!
I usually go on the cheaper end when buying masks and get mine from Ulta, but the girl was telling me how good the Sephora brand mud mask was and at a great price point. I completely agree because it was only $20 and the packaging is pretty. It's also a fairly generous amount considering it's a whole 2 oz! She was telling me that I could use the acne treatment first and then put the mud mask on over it. This is also great for all types of skin types, so that's a big plus!
I picked these up on a whim because I know how good the paper masks are so I figured why not. I am so excited to use this and plan on picking up a few more. For $4 you can't beat it and from the reviews I've heard you can get multiple uses from one pod. They have 11 different masks to choose from based on what your biggest skincare problems are. I picked up the Pearl, Green Tea & Rose.
I've heard great things about the EradiKate treatment! And I'll have to check out that mask! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
