Happy Wedding Wednesday loves! I am so so sorry for being super MIA on the blog. I'm gonna say what I say every time and that is that I'm gonna try my darndest to get better at this whole balance, but I make no promises.
This week my parents have been here so I am soaking up every minute I can with them! We also have a little luncheon that we are hosting here in Houston this Saturday for our family/friends that couldn't attend the wedding. And finally we have our honeymoon that we leave for on Monday!!!!!!!!
To say I'm a little excited is totally an understatement! Today I am going to share with y'all some pictures from our very first event for the wedding. This event is called a Grah Shanti and basically it's asking for the Lord Ganesh to bless us (the couple) and the wedding events. This is usually done separately with our respective families, hence why you won't see A in any of the pictures :)! I'll let the pictures do the talking now!
Me with all of my cousins, love them to pieces!!
Getting blessed by my aunts.
The painting has started!
The final product! It is said that when a bride gets turmeric paste spread on her skin, she will glow for the wedding day!
My besties made sure I was hella glowing that day, my face says it all!!
My aunt hand made all of my jewelry using real flowers, it smelled amazing!
My bestie for the restie!
Family over everything!
