Happy Wedding Wednesday loves! Obviously I'm having a slow start to my week as we just got back from a weeklong Honeymoon in the Mexican Caribbean on Sunday. It was seriously so amazing and relaxing waking up to the ocean right beside us and just relaxing by the pool whenever we felt like it. Also eating anything and everything around us, including ordering room service every single night...hello all inclusive!!
Get ready for a serious photo dump!
Gorgeous island we flew over before landing (we later visited that very island!)
The relaxation has started!
First day we hit up the pool.
Enjoying a relaxing concert beachside at the resort.
Beachside concert at the resort.
Hanging out by the beach with my babe.
Had to spell our hashtag in the sand :)!
Visited Chichen Itza which is one of the new 7 wonders of the world. It was a beautiful tour and we learned so much history about the Mayan culture and lifestyle.
Had to get a selfie too!
Ik Kil Cenote that I got to swim in, such an amazing experience even though it was jam packed with tourists!
Ready for a whole day of sailing the Gulf of Mexico!
Ready for my very first time snorkeling in the ocean, eek!!!
Headed to Isla Mujeres on our catamaran!
Making good use of that selfie stick at the looking point on Isla Mujeres, such a beautiful sight and pretty waters!
Had to snap another selfie with my babe and the gorgeous blue waters of the Mexican caribbean behind us!
Hibachi dinner with my babe at the resort!
Enjoying the sunshine in the pool outside our room!
More pool time which was much needed!
This was probably my favorite spot to be laying, right in front of the pool with the ocean not too far behind it!
Enjoying time in the ocean!
Our last night in Mexico :(!
Pretty moonlight shining on the resort on our last night.
Outside our beautiful resort as we wait to leave paradise!

If you made it all the way at the bottom, go get yourself a drink if you haven't started already!
Overall it was an amazing honeymoon and first trip as husband and wife. We explored, swam, tried new things, ate a bunch of food and most of all relaxed...it's just what the doctor ordered after a hectic year and a half of planning for our wedding!!
If you have any questions about our all inclusive resort, what to see or do in Mexico, etc..leave them in the comments below!

ReplyDeleteLooks like the perfect honeymoon and trip together as husband and wife! I've heard nothing but amazing things about that resort, and love love love that area in Mexico - just absolutely gorgeous! Plus you can't beat the amenities and unlimited food, drinks, and entertainment of an all inclusive resort. That and cruising are my favorite ways to travel <3

I loved getting to see all of your snaps from your honeymoon and it looked like y'all had the best time! I was really jealous of all your relaxing time by the pool, but I definitely think that you needed it after a wedding and a big move!
