Happy Monday friends! This weekend was fairly low key and I was terrible at taking pictures pretty much the whole time.
On Friday we met up with a friend who was in town for dinner and drinks. Of course no pictures were taken, but it was a great time catching up with her! Afterward we went to watch The Girl On The Train, it was a decent movie, but I compared it to Gone Girl and felt it was much much slower and harder to stay into the movie. From those who have read the book I've heard it's a great book so I may try reading it and seeing if I like it any better.
Saturday my cousin-in-law and I went to the Outlet malls and I had a great haul of stuff from Kate Spade, Tory Burch & Off Saks! I didn't really need much, but the deals were too good to pass up.
Sunday was spent catching up on my reading. I rented so many books from the library lately that I've been trying to get through a bunch of these. I managed to finish Leah Remini's book and boy was it super interesting! I had heard things here and there about Scientology, but this was a total in-depth look into the whole "religion" and some people I had no idea were a part of Scientology actually are! She seems like a super down to earth type of person and her book was very easy to read and get through in just one weekend! Up next is Kristen Cavallari's book, can't wait to dive into that one!
I closed out my weekend watching the cluster that is the Presidential Debate! Seriously it was just so childish I lost interest in actually watching and mostly just spent the latter part of it putting the Snapchat filters on Hillary & Trump, it was more entertaining honestly!

Love all your finds from the outlet! Outlet shopping is the best! And I totally need to see Girl on the Train! I read the book forever ago but people are saying the move is better. <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
ReplyDeleteOh man look at all those books - I read baby proof a few years ago and LOVED it!! Sorry to hear you didn't like the movie, I thought the book was really good, but I enjoyed the movie more! Love all your new buys from this weekend - so much good stuff! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThat debate was so hard to sit through, they both are just children. Such an embarrassment! You would love The Girl on the Train as the book, such a great read! I still need to go see the movie! Cheers to a fabulous week <3

Love your finds from your shopping trip! Cute!!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing all of your snaps of the debate with the snapchat filters! I really think that's the only way that I would have been able to make it through! I think that you should really read The Girl On The Train, but try not to compare it to Gone Girl because nothing can ever be as good as Gone Girl!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you hit the jackpot at the outlets! So many cute things. All those books sound so good, now that I'm on the audiobook train what do you recommend the most?
ReplyDeleteGreat outlet haul! I'm going to watch The Girl on the Train tomorrow. Gone Girl was amazing.
