About Me

Hiya there! I'm Nikki the mastermind behind makeupHER.

This blog is mostly a collection of my thoughts, favorite things, and what makes up my crazy wonderful life. In a short list this includes; fashion, makeup, family, friends, and my fiance A...along with a hodge podge of other miscellaneous things.

I'm a certified medical assistant working in the cardiac field and loving every minute of it. I love interacting with my patients and their family and keeping them educated on their cardiac health. I enjoy helping others as much as I can and can't wait to see where this exciting career takes me!

My family is one of the most important things in my life. My immediate family consists of my amazing parents who have been married 30+ years and my amazingly beautiful baby sister who is more than just a sister to me. I also have a very extensive and large extended family which includes cousins, aunts, uncles, neices, and nephews. I love my family and wouldn't trade them in for anyone.



Along with an amazing family, I have some pretty amazing friends who I've known for 10+ years and are like family to me! I don't know where I'd be without them and they've kept me sane and love me for who I am, flaws and all.

I also have an amazing fiance A, who popped the question in the most romantic way, you can read all about it here! He is the better half of me and constantly makes me want to be a better person. I don't know where I was in life before he came into it, but I wouldn't go back even if I could. We met on match.com (I know!!), but we are true believers that sometimes a shot in the dark message goes a long way.
