Liebster Award

Happy Saturday y'all. Since getting back from Colorado, I have wanted to do absolutely nothing. I will scramble up a recap on my trip to Colorado sometime this week. Last week I got a lovely email from one of my favorite bloggers, Bella about nominating me for a Liebster Award. I've gotten nominated in the past and I love it each time I get nominated. Here are some deets on the award..

My questions from Bella:

1. What did you like most about high school?

I met my best friend in high school and 10 years later, we are still best friends. Also I was super involved in dance club and track which was awesome!

2. What is your biggest fear?

I'm not the biggest fan of spiders or creepy craweler things, they are the absolute worst!

3. If you won the lottery and had one day to spend it, where would you spend it?

I guess I can be selfish and say shopping all the fancy stores on Fifth Ave in New York City.

4. What do you like most about blogging?

I love the community of incredible bloggers that I've been able to "meet" through blogging, they are the greatest and you know who you are!

5. Do you have kids? If not, do you want kids?

No kids for me yet, but yes I do eventually want kids, probs just 2 though. Nice even number..

6. How has 2014 treated you so far?

So far so good, I've gone on a date with a jerk (which made me step out of my comfort zone a bit), traveled already (to Colorado), and have so many exciting things planned for this year (weddings, bachelorette party weekend in NOLA, birthday cruise with the cousins, etc).

7. Describe yourself in three words?

Energetic, loyal, and honest (I may have described a dog, but oh wells).

8. Which is your favorite holiday?

Christmas. I love the decorations, lights, presents, movies, music, etc.

9. What do you think about dating in our generation?

Um, it sucks. I'm not a huge fan of online dating (even though I am on a dating site) and it is so much harder to find a decent guy. I mean when you have apps like Tinder in the world, it cannot be easy.

10. Tell me about a time when you met a celebrity (or someone important), who was it and how did you react?

I've only ever met athletes, which I consider celebrities. The top 3 are all Chicago Bulls players (Taj Gibson, Derrick Rose, and John Lucas III-yes he is no longer on the Bulls, but he was awesome on our team). The bottom left is me with Shawn Marion, the small forward for the Dallas Mavricks, I ran into him on the streets of Chicago and he was super nice! The bottom right is Martellus Bennett (Chicago Bears tight end) he was funny and nice too!

11. Which one, Edward or Jacob (Twilight)?

I'm not a huge fan of this series, but have seen the movies. I choose Jacob, because he's hotter (yes I'm aware he is a child, but still).
