March Beauty Favorites

Happy Friday eve friends! I feel like March was a month of discovery for me especially when it came to new beauty products. I don't know what it is about the temps warming up (although not by much) that has me in the mood to find new products I'll love.

//Honest Beauty Luminizing Powder in Dusk Reflection//
I picked this up at Ulta when I was in browsing on day. I had no clue that Jessica Alba had expanded her famous brand into makeup. I love how natural and pure her makeup looks and can't wait to try some other products. As far as this powder goes, it's the perfect color to add some depth to your face without overdoing it. It has a tiny bit of shine to it to add a little glow too.

Guys, this little orange sponge is life altering. I only just started putting my makeup on with a beauty blender/sponge and I don't think I will ever go back to putting on my foundation and concealer with a brush again. The damp sponge gives me an airbrush look with only taking 3 minutes of my time to apply. Also if you've been wanting a sponge/blender, but aren't sure which one you should get...just buy this little guy it's only $6.99 as opposed to the real beauty blender that costs $20!

Plus right off the bat, it has SPF 50!!! I love the light, but natural coverage this gives. I do wish they made this available in more shades because the medium is just a tad too light for me, but I use this mostly for under my eye area and it brightens it right up. Honestly it's a toss up between this and the bye bye under eye concealer and I chose this one because it's not as thick as the bye bye under eyes is.

I saw this on a blog and knew I wanted to try it after reading the description of it. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from this product, but picked it up from my local Target anyway. After just a week of using it, my skin felt so much smoother in the morning and it did feel like I was glowing. It didn't feel like it was burning or anything like that on my skin which says a lot because my skin is super sensitive. Plus when something is lathered on thick like this, I feel like it's doing more for my skin.

I got this in my latest Ipsy bag and I gotta say, Ipsy won me over this month. I was becoming unimpressed with some of their products, but this one knocked it out of the park. The color is gorgeous (cherry skies) and the suede feel of it is creamy. I'm definitely going to be picking up more colors...now if only this was in matte, I would be in lipstick heaven!

I absolutely love the multiple uses of this oil. I mainly buy it to put in my hair and moisturize my scalp before washing my hair. My hair never feels itchy or dry after I put this in and at first I thought it was just a whatever product, but the one time I didn't use it I felt the difference. You can also add a few drops to a bath or on your cuticles!

I'm a lover of Origins products and this one is no exception. I absolutely love the citrus smell of this and I would say this definitely makes me feel more awake after putting it on because of the strong orange smell. It's also very hydrating without being oily at all.

  1. It sounds like you got a lot of good makeup goodies this month! That shade of lipstick looks so pretty, and I'm a huge fan of Origins too! I've tried the Gin-Zing in the eye cream but I didn't realize they had a whole moisturizer!

  3. Glad that the Pixi stuff worked! I saw their stuff at Target and was a little shocked at how expensive it was (eyeliner pencils for like 12 or 14 bucks), so I've been hesitant to try their stuff because if I dont like it, then I dont want to have wasted that $$. Glad to hear a good recommendation tho!
