101 in 1001 | May Update

It's been a few months since the last link-up to check on how everyone is doing on their 101 in 1001 list and I hate to admit it, but I haven't been really aiming to cross off that much from it. Luckily, things have worked out and I got a few more things knocked off the list, but I need to be a little more mindful of it. Let's get into it shall we...

to travel and beyond

Completed Tasks:

10.Try 10 new restaurants  {1. Granite City Brewery-March 2015//2. River City Grill-May 2015//3. Dish Society-May 2015//4.Song Kran-Aug 2015//5. Pappasitos-Aug 2015//6. Parlor Pizza-Oct 2015//7. Truco Taqueria-Oct 2015//8. RA Sushi-March 2016//9. Ming-April 2016//10. Honeyberry Cafe-April 2016}
I guess I don't go to that many new restaurants and I'm glad I hit 10...only took a year lol. The last few months I've definitely been trying new places which has been great! I'm sure I have eaten at some other new ones, but cannot remember them for the life of me, so this will have to do.

29.Back up all my photos to my external hard drive {April 2016}
I'm happy to have this crossed off my list as well! I bought a Picture Keeper photo backup drive. I got this from Groupon for super cheap and am so so happy with how easy to use this is. You literally plug it into the USB port on your desktop or laptop and bam it goes to work. I have 2 of these that have the capacity to hold 6,000 pictures each. The best part is that it won't duplicate the photos which is the biggest pain I have with iPhoto!

 53.See a comedy show {April 2016-Laugh Factory & May 2016-Improv Chicago}
I did this without even remembering that I had this on my list! A and I went to The Laugh Factory to check out their comedy show for his birthday! Then in May, I went to The Improv Chicago to check out Loni Love with some friends! I definitely want to add more comedy clubs to my list of things to do because they are such a fun night!

82.Go on a spontaneous weekend trip {Orlando March 2-5th, 2016}
91.Visit Disney World again {March 4th, 2016}
94.Go on a trip with just my sister {Orlando March, 2016}
I killed 3 birds with one stone with my Disney/Orlando trip. It was such an amazing trip and I hope to take more trips with my sissy soon!

In Progress:

71.Get 5 massages {April 2015//May 2016
I cannot believe I waited an entire year before getting another massage. Definitely gonna make this more of a habit.

45.Meet 5 blogger friends {Kate, Pamela, Kerri
 This is yet another thing I was able to work on when I went to Orlando with my sister. I am so so happy that I got to meet up with these lovely ladies! Cannot wait to add more bloggers in Texas to this list too!!

 ********************************

As of now I have 19 tasks completed. I really wish more of this was crossed off, but I am going to make more of a point and it makes me feel better that I still have until November 2017 to get these done! I'm definitely working harder on the reading aspect and obviously with getting married and traveling with my new husband, a few more of these will definitely be crossed off later this year!

Linking up with Macy and her co-host Jacquelyn for the 101 in 1001 update link up!

  4. I think it's totally ok to hit a lull, especially right before your wedding! There's lots going on so don't let it overwhelm you!
