Monday Musings | First of April

Happy Monday morning friends. Let me tell ya, this one is a tough Monday to wake up and go to work (hence the lack of post prep). I got home from our weekend trip laaaaaate last night and proceeded to go straight to sleep for a few hours before waking up again.

Overall we had a great trip, it's always nice seeing family and spending time with my nephews who are older now (one is about to go to college this year....I feel old!)

We got into New Jersey around 4pm and we hung around at my cousins house just catching up and getting rest from the long drive. The next morning we all woke up and headed out to get some shopping done. After 4 hours of buying jewelry and clothes we got hungry and headed for lunch before going back home. We were pretty exhausted from all the shopping so just napped and hung out before heading out for dinner that night.

We went to this great Pan Asian restaurant that my cousin and her family go to a lot and let me tell you all the food did not disappoint. I was thoroughly stuffed by the end of the meal. We each ordered a handful of appetizers and entrees so everyone could get a little bit. The Pad Thai was the clear winner for me along with the TomYum soup and Papaya salad...yum!

I'm so happy with all the jewelry I picked up for not only myself, but my sister because that means it'll all be stuff I'll be borrowing. My mom and dad also completed all their wedding shopping so that was a relief. I can't believe we are almost at the 3 month mark with the wedding, it's all becoming more real with RSVP's coming in and things being checked off the ever growing list!

Hope all of you guys had fantastic weekends!

Linking up with Biana for weekending!
