I absolutely love reading blogs for various reasons. I love getting product recommendations, getting a good laugh, or getting great ideas for posts of my own! When I saw P!nky do this fun post about getting to know her more, I knew this was right up my ally. Since Helene's webinar about getting noticed, I met some wonderful new blogger friends and have noticed some new faces around here. What better way for the new (and old) readers to get to know the person behind the blog a little bit better, truthfully these are my favorite types of posts to read!! Let's get to it then..
Favorite food:
Mexican food, any and all of it I could eat it for days.
Flip flops or high heels?
Flip flops all the way, I love how cute sandals can dress you up just like heels!
Favorite places to shop:
Target (of course), Old Navy & Amazon

Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Friends, Chicago PD, The Mindy Project
Favorite book:
I love reading any celebrity memoir, learning more about famous (and semi-famous) celebs is just fun. A new fave of mine is Why Not Me by Mindy Kaling.
Favorite form of exercise:
Walking, I'm honestly too lazy for anything else plus I walk all day long at work!
Do you try something new at restaurants or stick to your favorites?
As much as I want to try new stuff, I unfortunately stick to my faves, much to the dismay of my fiance, he is big on trying new things out.
One makeup item you cannot live without?
Concealer...I swear I would look sick without it.
What's on your nightstand?
Speaking of sick, I've been on the verge of getting the sickies, so Nyquil & Vicks is beside my bed right now.
One thing marriage being engaged has taught you?
Learning to go with the flow more and appreciate your s/o because he definitely has my best interest in mind.
If you could live anywhere in the world other than your current city, where would you live?
Oh goodness, let's see; Texas, Florida, or Hawaii would be my picks off hand.

My real name is actually Namrata, not Nikki. I've gone by Nikki my entire life though, nobody besides my grandfather called me by my real name.

Haha I love the (of course) after Target. Target is always a given! And I'm with you on laundry. I HATE laundry. Sometimes, clean clothes sit in the laundry basket for an entire week, getting all wrinkled, before I make myself fold it. And now that we have Avery, the laundry is never ending. Who knew a 3 month old could produce so much dirty laundry!
