Friday Favorites

It's 2015!! I hope everyone had a relaxing and safe New Year's. I kept it really low key (plus had no mood to do a single thing) and stayed at home and watched crappy Lifetime movies, it was awesome. Spent the first day of the New Year, hanging at home and watching the bowl games. I wanted to pop by the blog world (since I had to go back to work, how unfair to have to go back and work for a day after a pretty major holiday...the day after the holiday should also be a vacation day, just sayin) to join Amanda for Friday Favorites!

This is such a fun song and makes you just want to move around and be silly...oh wait is that just me?!

Favorite quote

I think this is pretty fitting since it's the first (few) days of the New Year. I love the feeling of having a fresh new slate to start off the next 365 days, it's sort of freeing. Start writing your 2015!

Favorite wintertime activity

I love going ice skating down in Millenium Park. It may be freezing cold in Chicago, but being able to see the beautiful sky scrapers out around you while you skate around is just magical. I have yet to go, but plan on going when A comes to town!

Favorite recipe

 

 This is one of my favorite recipes (and favorite thing to eat at parties). My best friend usually makes these when we are having potlucks and I found them to be super easy to make as well. All you need is flour tortillas, cream cheese, sour cream, finely chopped onions & tomato, and a packet of taco seasoning. You just mix all this together (and you can add or change around any of the ingredients) and spread onto the tortillas, then rolling them up and cutting them horizonally. Quick and easy appetizer that will get all eaten up, guaranteed!
