Let's Get Social {Week 10}

Happy Sunday friends! It's time to link up once again for Sunday Social with Ashley & Neely. By the way everyone, Neely's dad is going through some tough times so send some love and prayers her way!!

Sunday Social
1. If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
PIZZA!! I love any kind of pizza, thin crust, thick crust, extra cheese, or Chicago's famous deep dish!!

Lou Malnati's deep dish pizza!!
2. What's your guilty pleasure/comfort food?
Guilty pleasure is any kind of chocolates. Comfort food would be grilled cheese with creamy tomato soup!

3. What's the weirdest/craziest thing you've ever eaten?
I guess I am not very adventurous with foods, because I can't think of anything.

4. What foods do you avoid at all costs?
I've never really been a fish person, so I tend to stay away from that.

5. What meal reminds you of your childhood?
Mac & Cheese. My mom always made that for us as kids and I loved it. For breakfast foods though, I remember eating a TON of hot cereal as a child, and I still eat it nowadays during winter!

6. Share one of your favorite recipes and story behind it?
My absolute favorite recipe is Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie. It is super easy to make {trust me I am NOT suzy homemaker} and it tastes DELISH! I make this around the holiday time {Thanksgiving/Christmas} and everyone loves it!!

{Yield: 2 9 inch pies}

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
3/4 cup white sugar
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
2 large eggs
1/4 tsp salt
2 prepared 9 inch graham cracker pie crust

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Beat together the cream cheese & sugar, add pumpkin puree and the spices. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add salt. Beat until creamy. Pour into two pie crusts.
3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 mins {or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean}. Let it cool then top with some whipped cream if desired.

Not mine, but looks similar!

Well, I hope I didn't make you all too hungry, I did however make my mouth water with all this talk of food. I can't wait until the Fall/Winter to be able to make some of the Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie.

Is there any special/favorite recipe of yours?
